13th August 2019 – ‘Token Tour’ of Norwich
Join Adrian Marsden for a tour around the sites of Norwich connected with 17th Century token issuers. We will be visiting, amongst other places, St. Peter Mancroft, St. Andrew’s, Tombland and the Cathedral. Adrian will tell the stories of the issuers along the way. We meet at the Lamb about 11.30, leaving by 12 noon and will finish at the Adam and Eve, probably about 3 o’clock. This is a free event but I will need to know numbers – if there are too many people who commit to come then I may have to cap the event at about 20 and do a re-run at a later date.
